The Sims Social developers have released some new digs that we know you will dig. The Slix Clothing Collection has been released today, and these are some pretty hip items:

Starting with those hi-top kicks, Slixette Princess (for the female sim) & Slix Fightback trainers (for the male sim) costing 15 Simcash. Which is nicely priced compared to the WildFire Hotshots which costs 47 Simcash. The Bow Belle hair accessory is a nice addition, costing 19 Simcash. For the female Sim there's the really cute LuxSox skirt costing 35 Simcash, your sim can rock this with the Slixette stockings underneath for a cool Fall season look. The Slixette stockings cost 1450 Simoleons. For the male sim there's Slix Sox costing only 250 Simoleons & Slix jeans shorts costing 35 Simcash.

Also there's a really cool hoody over a tee called the Slixette Jacket (female Sim), & Slix Jacket (male Sim) which will set you back 3000 Simoleons. There's a new choppy cut hairstyle available for the female Sim as well, called Molly which is pretty cool in my book, but it can only be bought with 39 Simcash. There's a new male hairstyle as well called Greased Back which you can pay 3000 Simoleons for. We are loving this new collection, but would still like to see more new items available for Simoleons as oppose to simcash, but overall these items are pleasing to the eye.

Fansite Picks | New SolTrain Beach Items Released

A new little item drop has taken us by surprise today. Some new sexy beach items have been released and we personally love them, but do you? The items included in the new items drop are:

But which are our favourites? and which are The Sims Social items that we believe are going to be the most popular? No Skill items have been released today which is a shame. The windows are the same as previous versions, just in a light brown beach colour. Some of the items that just missed out on our The Sims Social Fansite 'Fansite Picks' this time around are the 'SolTrain Snug' for a respectable 850 Social Points (SP) for however pretty it is, it just doesn't top the 'SolTrain Swing' and the 'SolTrain Parasol' is a little on the expensive side for just a decorative table.

We've noticed as this post has come before the items are 'Officially' launched by The Sims Social developers that two errors have been made with the price of the 'Woody Divider' and the 'Alpine 5 Pane' which are asking for a lot of SimCash, however we are 100% sure these will be altered in the next couple of hours.

So that leads us on to which 8 items we believe are the most worth your Simoleons, Social Points and SimCash this time around, taking into consideration popularity, worth, functionality, price, beauty and individualism. Our Fansite Picks this week are:

We just know we are going to see a lot of man made beaches this week with a nice Sanded area with Palm Trees and outside SolTrain Chairs and Swings and those 4 items mentioned are not that harsh your your Simoleons either. The slightly more expensive of the 8 are the 'SolTrain Kingsize' which cements itself into the second most expensive bed in the game with likewise House Value of +11,700. You may remember the 'SolTrain Swing' from The Sims Social 'Design It' Competition around 2 months ago when it won the most popular idea by a lucky The Sims Social fan. The 'SolTrain Panama' is a thing of elegance and beauty. Also we know The Sims Social world loves a good electrical item and we believe the new 'UltiMax Top Deck' will set your house out from all of the others.

We know that many of you hardcore The Sims Social fans have been struggling to Level Up your skills from Level 85. Well with this little hint of what may be to come in the near future with more images of Unreleased Items you may not have to wait very long. We are unsure as to what price these new Skill Items will cost, but we guess for some of them SimCash may be involved. These Unreleased The Sims Social Items include a White Laptop, Keyboard, Black Laptop, Food Blender, Advanced BBQ and new Light Easel.

As with all Unreleased Items, we can not guarantee that they will ever see the light of day in The Sims Social online game or indeed a specific release date. Would you part with your hard earned SimCash for these Cooking, Writing. Music and Painting Skill Items?

We know EA have been coinciding with different brands like Dunkin' Donuts to promote The Sims Social and provide us with amazing new items and gifts. Well here is another collaboration for you Pogo.com which is an online browser game website which is supported by EA. Earlier today we announced that a new games machine was been released very soon, in fact it was released to The Sims market place earlier this week but again removed due to a mistake by Playfish. Luckily for you, you can grab it by clicking this link!

Toast Master Quest and New Scrapped Toaster

We know many players have completed all of The Sims Social Launch Quests and literally wait on tenterhooks each week for Quest updates so they can complete the next set. We know for a lot of The Sims Social players completing Quests is more important than building their home, decorating, collecting 'Rare' Items or new clothing.

This weeks New Quests included 'Toast Master' and upon it's completion you can receive the 'Scrapped Toaster' as a reward. The Toaster ends up been placed in your 'Skill' Items catergory in The Sims Social Store however no 'Cooking' Skills can be performed, only to 'Eat Toast' which fulfils your 'Hunger' need. We are unaware as to whether more options or actions will become available, but we have a feeling that there is more to this item than meets the eye, especially in regards to the email address that is supposed to be burnt into the toast!
