The rumoured day of release is upon us and still no word from EA or Playfish regarding a launch date. At time of posting the old SimSocial website is still running, we'll keep you posted on any new developments as they happen.


Speculation is still rife regarding what will be happening with the online version of The Sims franchise this weekend, we've given our view. We are aware Wikipedia states the game will launch today however content via this source can be entered by anyone, once it's official. We'll let you know!


EA has however teased us some more with information on Sim character creation within the game. Clothing your sim will be one of the main aspects of gameplay within the new Facebook version with FREE! clothing being available as well as premium items bought with either Facebook credits or 'The Sims' own virtual currency (simoleans)
